Flying cameras uncover the engineering behind the world’s longest deep-sea cable, soar above arctic huskies as they cross frozen lakes and capture Norway’s luckiest postman on his stunning island-hopping route. Alongside the vast and rugged landscape carved out by ancient glaciers, we’ll uncover the ground-breaking architecture that’s transforming Oslo’s waterfront.
Europe from Above: Croatia- A unique aerial tour of Croatia - a place where natural wonders and historic landmarks sit side-by-side. Drone photography reveals the truth behind the remarkable preservation of a 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheatre. The cameras fly with climbers making high-risk repairs to the legendary climbing walls of Paklenica National Park. And they join a team of conservationists searching for eagles in the expansive floodplains of the Sava river.
Europe from Above: Portugal- This spectacular aerial journey reveals Portugal, as we’ve never seen it before. Cameras swoop along the world’s longest pedestrian footbridge, soar over Sintra’s fairy-tale palace and get a bird’s eye view as surfers try their luck on the world’s biggest surfable waves. In a country where age-old traditions collide with modern flair, we’ll reveal the restoration of Lisbon’s century old mosaic pavements and capture a grape harvest like no other.
